Donate to Our Girls
As a public charter school, Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy must constantly fill the funding gap. Just as other public schools, CGLA receives per-student public education funding from the state of Tennessee. These funds, however, do not fully cover the cost of offering a quality education for our students.
What makes CGLA a "charter" school is the commitment, both financial and volunteer, from our local community.
Your philanthropic donations of time and money help to fund:
College scholarships for graduating seniors, many of which are the first in their families to attend a postsecondary institution.
Additional STEM-based faculty professional development opportunities to prepare our teachers to provide instruction to the leaders of tomorrow.
Afterschool tutoring and academic programs that take place 4 days a week and provide additional instruction to ensure ALL students are successful in their coursework.
Expeditionary learning trips that provide real-world context for concepts learned in the classroom.
